Complete costs range from $1500-$2000 depending on the basement set up (finished or unfinished) and the (hot or hot/cold) install selected. For the homeowner this will be a one time purchase for $1500-$2000 (which includes unit and install), and $25/yr of salt. The install includes a 7 yr manufacturers warranty, and 1 yr of follow up service (if needed). The unit will be maintenance free for 15-20 yrs, other than adding a bag of salt every three months.
